CEO, CINI visited Australia and presented CINI through a series of programme engagements and partnership meetings

Dr Indrani Bhattacharyya, CEO, CINI visited Australia during 13th to 26th February as part of a series of programme engagements and partnership meetings.

The main purpose of this visit was to attend the Drowning Prevention Exchange Programme scheduled from 17th to 19th February 2026. A seven-member delegation from India participaticipated in this exchange programme, including senior representatives from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India; WHO; AIIMS, New Delhi; Government Medical College, Kannur (Kerala); and the Directorate of Health Services, Goa.

Dr Bhattacharyya, met with senior citizens at Seven Hills, Sydney, Australia.

Sister Pauline Prince and Jennifer Connaughton, Founder of CINI Australia, were among the distinguished attendees.

She also delivered the keynote address at a high-level discussion on “𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗨𝗽 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗜 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱” at 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲, 𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲, 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 (𝗡𝗦𝗪), 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮.

The discussion was attended by eminent experts including 𝗗𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻, Co-Director, Community Paediatrics, South Western Sydney Local Health District, and Senior Clinical Advisor – Child and Family Health, New South Wales Ministry of Health; Conjoint 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗮 𝗘𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗻, University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia; 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗸𝗮𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲; 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗼 𝗨𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮, University of Sydney, and others.
