On World Health Day (7 April 2026), CINI launched the Shubhayu Health & Wellness Dialogue series, a knowledge-sharing platform to promote multisectoral action on non-communicable diseases (NCDs). In the inaugural keynote, Dr. Arunangshu Talukdar, Head of Geriatric Medicine, Medical College Hospital, Kolkata, emphasized the importance of adopting a life-course approach to prevent NCDs, highlighting the need for early interventions from pre-conception through adolescence. The initiative marks the beginning of an ongoing dialogue to advance evidence-based discussions on health and wellness.
