7 November, 2023Meghendra Banerjee brings 25 years of progressive professional and leadership experience in sustainable development across Asia and the Pacific Region. His expertise is deeply rooted in India’s public health, nutrition, child rights, and social protection systems.
As a seasoned executive, Mr. Banerjee profoundly understands emerging technologies, monitoring and evaluation, knowledge management, and institutional learning systems. His career has been marked by successful leadership, including the mentorship of multicultural teams and collaborative work with national and state governments in India alongside agencies such as UNDP, WHO, UNICEF, the Commonwealth Secretariat, and CINI.
Mr. Banerjee holds a Master’s in Demography and Health from the prestigious London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and is a distinguished fellow of the Wellcome Trust, further solidifying his position as a thought leader in sustainable development.
