Dr. Ajay Bhattacharya

10 September, 2025Dr. Ajay Bhattacharya, IAS (Retd.), superannuated from the post of Director, Food and Supplies and was in the rank of Secretary, Government of West Bengal at the time of retirement. He holds a PhD in Geology from Jadavpur University and a Masters from Presidency College, Kolkata. Dr. Bhattacharya has served the Government of West Bengal in various capacities including as Additional Mission Director, National Health Mission in the Department of Health and Family Welfare. He is currently the Member Secretary of the Sixth State Finance Commission of West Bengal.
