Dr. Indrani Bhattacharyya is a distinguished social scientist dedicated to the development sector for the past 25 years. Her academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology, and her expertise spans a wide range of critical areas, including child, adolescent, and women’s development issues, as well as participatory governance and community partnerships.

Dr. Bhattacharyya embarked on her journey with CINI in August 2001 and has since been a driving force within the organization. Her commitment to professional growth and development is evident through her extensive training in participatory governance, community mobilization, reproductive and child health, adolescent development, and leadership management. She has honed her skills through affiliations with esteemed organizations in India, including DASRA and Harvard Business Publishing, an affiliate of Harvard Business School.

Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at CINI, Dr. Bhattacharyya is a leader within the organization and a prominent representative in state, national, regional, and international forums. Her work is instrumental in providing technical assistance and advocating for policy changes. Furthermore, she actively promotes the CINI Method through strategic partnerships, networks, and alliances across various levels, amplifying the organization’s impact and reach.
